And I thought I read when scrolling through GD that her coach got on her about not trying hard enough when she left the ice?

I think a suspension, not a ban, is warranted here. This was child abuse. Ideally, she would leave Russia and go someplace else. She may very well be through in Russia, though, and she may never recover her reputation with the skating cimmunity. A sad mess.

She needs to take a break, for both her physical and mental wellbeing.
