18. DU is the best!

I came here (actually escaped to here) in 2019 when I couldn't take the contentious back and forth on another political forum that had rabid rightwingers as well as those of us on the left. It was fun slinging mud there at times. Most other times, though, it was sickening to hear what they thought and believed. I learn so much here and never even visit that other site anymore, although I do wonder about the good people who may still be there.

I don't really remember how I came upon DU, but thank my lucky stars every day that I did!
