After a flurry of calls and a flight east, she's now waiting at the border of Kazkhstan. It's a 3-hour wait because of the queue of people trying to leave. She's confident that she should be able to cross as there is no outbound Russian border check, just inbound Kazkhstan.

Nearly every scene I saw of the arrests were of women. Six or so "brave" police vs. a young woman.
