There are so many reasons to stay.
I'm sure economic/job reason are high on the list. Oklahoma's unemployment rate is 5.2%. The cost of living here is ridiculously low.
My daughter just bought a house in Portland for 180,000. It would be half that here in Tulsa... and Tulsa has one of the higher housing costs.
Despite a few rough patches, the weather is pretty good. Fuel costs are low and...........
even our rednecks are nice. Oklahoma is full of just really nice people.
People don't talk politics 24/7. We talk about our gardens, the weather, sports ( of course), family...
If someone says "bless you", I say "thank you", even though I'm an atheist.
