This sentiment is the thing that terrifies them. Because EVENTUALLY, it will spread and then it won't just be those people you mentioned that can defend themselves, it will be the working masses back-talking and taking to task, their economic "betters".
And that can't be allowed to happen.
EVER.
They tried a coup to rid themselves of FDR, and when that didn't work, the next time they HAD to get rid of someone, John, little brother Bobby and MLK Jr. all ended up shot. Of course THEY weren't the ones who pulled the trigger (THEY always have Plausible Deniability)
because the idiots who prop them do their dirty work for them. If the idiots are too scared to keep accomplishing the wet-work for them, there will come a time when there's no one left to defend them from real, and Democratically enacted, Justice.
