Is there any condition that would compell the US to get involved militarily in Ukraine? [View all]

Would we do anything if Russia used nuclear or chemical weapons in Ukraine? We've already seen them commit war crimes and atrocities. What if Russian soldiers started to commit war crimes on the scale of the Rape of Nanjing?

Or have we written Ukraine off and are waiting for Putin to attack a NATO country?
