(as Sharkeyes would say). I lived through the so called gentler days of Ronald Reagan and I can tell you that those William F. Buckley types were just as racist and mean as these teabaggers. Only difference is this crowd has 24/7 cable, internet, twitter and unReality TV (FOX). When the MSM starts pining for the "good old days", they're probably forgetting about the 30% unemployment in black households, housing discrimination and vote (Lee Atwater) fraud that existed. Only difference today is that the conservatives have run the northern Republics out of the party.

That damned Nixon and his southern strategy paved the way for a C grade actor like Reagan to grift his way into the presidency. Look at the folks he surrounded himself with and you can tell how serious he was about moving the country forward. All hat.
