but rather, they are simply promulgating Putin's propaganda--not copying its style, but actually simply translating it to English and spreading it around

If we can be considered to be at war at this point (and given the interference in 2016, various cyber-attacks, etc....well...), there's a word for people who give aid and comfort to the enemy. If you catch my drift.
