This is a political move, and you're taking the hook.

First, unless you live in Kansas, I don't think your opinion on their state legislature carries any water.

Second, Kansas is one of the most red states in the country, why in the world would you want to help paint Mike O'Neil as Mr. GOP? Him praying for Obama dying isn't exactly going to bother most people from Kansas.

Remember, this is the home state of the Westboro Baptist Church...the wackjobs who protest military funerals with "God hates fags" signs. He might represent the extreme of Kansas, but the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.

You're helping him win re-election by being the anti-Obama. Don't help him. Knowing that liberals want him out of office is going to rally his base.
