(27,681 posts)23. Voted yesterday, Florida's 1st day of early voting. Biggest crowd I've ever seen for any election.
I went about 4:00 because earlier in the day the line was out the town hall and into the parking lot, and they had a snake line inside. The poll volunteer inside said he had been doing this for 12 years and this was the biggest crowds ever. All of the voting booths were filled and you had to wait until one opened up. I would normally be thrilled to see so many people voting, but I live in a very red and non-diverse district; mostly older white folks. So I hope the repugs aren't coming out in big numbers too. By the way, I'm an older white folk and my vote went for Obama.

Nevada- early voted in person last weekend. waited in line about 30 minutes to vote

Voted early. There was no line. Better than regular voting in terms of wait time.
