I would have handled it differently.
I would be gunning to do the same thing if someone insulted my wife. However, I would have done it back stage rather than making a public spectacle of it and making thousands of people extremely uncomfortable in the process.
Smith crossed some lines here.
Also I think Chris Rock probably should have done a bit of background first (if he didn't anyway). I think Jada is really upset about the hair loss thing and it's bothering her pretty bad. I get what kind of comedy he does, but that is probably a subject that should have been avoided due to the nature of it all.
A woman going bald isn't the same as it is for a man. We expect it and take the jokes as they come. It's a pretty sensitive thing when it happens to women.
