Biden is making enemies, and those enemies have pretty much a stranglehold on the press (at least that which is TV based). Those enemies (the extremely wealthy, the fossil fuels lobby, the insurance lobby, the banking sector, etc.) see Biden as an existential threat, and they are doing everything in their power to tear him down. I remember when Carter was in office, and he had precisely the same problem. Add to this the fact that Biden, while a spectacular president, just does not have the same charisma than either Clinton or Obama had, and it's not surprising to see us where we are right now.
