The vast majority of the elected GOP doesn't give a rat's raw ass about anything but staying in power, working for the benefit of corporations, harvesting as much money as possible for themselves and their benefactors, cutting taxes of the ultra-rich, cutting social programs that cost money that might require raising taxes, and lyng whenever convenient.

We live in degenerate times. At the top of my list is reforming campaign contributions. Corporations are not people. Only people should be allowed to make financial contributions,and limited to a reasonable amount, which I deem is $25K max, but we can debate what is a reasonable amount.

We need to dump the electoral college. It is simply not fair and undemocratic that Montana and Idaho get the same number of senators as NY, Cal, FL, Tex.

Maybe the senate should go to. Just have 1` body of representatives. Or if we keep the senate, membership is proportional to each state's population. Better minds than mine can work on this one.

Election day needs to be a Fed paid holiday. Absentee mail-in voting not discouraged.
