27. Oh, they do reuse names now.

Names get retired if a storm is big and bad enough to get famous, but other than that the names are recycled. I believe they started this about the same time they started naming tropical storms as well as hurricanes, but I may be wrong about the timing. I thought it was stupid to start naming tropical storms, but reusing names for nothing storms is all right. Eventually they were going to run out of names if they didn't start rotating them.
