55. Morality is everyone's job

The only justifiable reason to wage war in the first place is to prevent a greater harm or injustice. Of course "greater harm" is very subjective, so I'm not saying "justifiable" is always straightforward and clear, but I'd hope most of humanity can get on board with the idea that "we don't like you and want to kill you and take your stuff" isn't good enough a reason.

Then, even given the need to fight a war, I don't see why you're so disturbingly eager to treat war as a morality-free zone, like it's an excuse to do anything you want to anyone you classify as "the enemy".
