The Reagan/Bush years took a lot out of me too. To have Fleetwood Mack at an inaugural ball was a huge breath of fresh air after having "Bedtime for Bonzo" and "Just Say No" around for 8 years, then 4 more of Poppa Bush!

Bill wasn't the best human being in the world, but he was a damn fine president. He married well too. When I saw how the right-wing idiots reacted to Hillary trying to fix healthcare in this country I damn near shit myself.

That's when republicans turned from annoying, cheating, regressive morons into Newt Gingrich led evil, horrifying, shockingly disturbed, soul sucking monsters.

You had to get me started, didn't you.
