I don't think you're correct that Republicans fear the dissents that Justice Jackson may write in the future. They aren't afraid because they don't have any conscience. You cannot shame them as they don't care.

Perhaps the GOP's disgusting behavior over the past dozen years has simply shown the world that Republicans don't believe in democracy and equality. They crave power and money. They desire to preserve their white privilege. It's really that simple.

I don't even think they care about Justice Jackson's intellectual brilliance. Even if she does "show up" Kavanaugh or Barrett, they still have a solid conservative majority and can win most cases. Remember that Thomas' incompetence and partisanship hasn't stopped him once during his decades on the bench.

The scourge of the Republican Party will be with us until it self-implodes or most Americans finally rise up to say, "Enough!"
