77. It's impossible for a member to "delete" their account--the only one who can do that is an admin.

If you will review the TOS, you would see that we are free to express ourselves, but, like in the real world, we take our chances. Bear in mind, if you piss off the majority of the community, they will let you know. And if you're a continuous disruptor, you'll be shown the door by the admins.

Have fun with your blog. I'll give you this--you're one of the few gripers who actually said they were going to go start up their own discussion group instead of expecting the website to bend to their will. Most complainers think DU is a charity and the admins are running this site for their amusement.

AFAIAC, this place is the best site on the web for news, opinions, conversations, etc. Are there noodgy little things that don't necessarily suit me? Sure. That's life. I get over it. I adjust. The good far outweighs the noodgy.
