6. Being a teacher can be a thankless job especially if you have some unruly students.

A friend of mine works as a sixth grade teacher in California.
She had a couple of students in her sixth grade class who would disrupt the class every day in the morning.
When the kids would get to hard to handle she would have to fill out a form and send them to the principals office

The principal would send the kids back 30 minutes later and there was no punishing of the kid. This kind of behavior was allowed to happen until eventually my friend resigned and almost had a nervous breakdown. Now she's working as a helper for a 2nd grade class. My friend has six years of college invested in becoming a teacher and she's getting her second credential. The kid that disrupted her class is not the victim here. She teaches in a low income area and the kids definitely do not have the best family life. Some children need to be disciplined either by the principal or their parents. The kid who disrupted her class everyday wasn't expelled or disciplined and someone else will have to deal with the disruptive kid.
