Or "Fragged" by their own soldiers.

There was only 1 US general killed in combat I think in the last 10 years, and before that, the last was in Vietnam.

It's actually rare, so I wonder if they're getting shot by snipers. (I have no moral issue with that. Better a general than an 18-year-old conscript.)
