is the sick and monstrous part. That implies victimizing and hurting a woman, not merely getting your urges taken care of with someone in a consensual transaction. (Now, I was a military wife for 20 years, and my husband served a remote year in Korea and was TDY in many other places--while I understand a lot of cheating and hinky shit goes on among spouses during times of separation, especially with the "local girls" who were always around the American bases in the bars and stuff, I would never condone, excuse or accept any of that in my marriage. But again we're talking about rape here, not weird little arrangements.)
