... could be mentally ill from her own experiences as a child.

I worked with a woman, YEARS ago, who said that she believed over 90% of children were molested by their parents... and it infuriated her. It blew my mind that she thought the percentage could be so high!! If it was anywhere close to that percentage, wouldn't it be considered normal behavior by now?!


She much later revealed to me that she'd been sexually assaulted when she was a little girl. Then I recalled her earlier "over 90%" estimate and figured her own trauma had made her super-paranoid about it.

Don't ask me why she shared that stuff with me because I don't understand it either. Someone once told me that I project a very empathetic personality, which he thought was great. Except that I'd probably attract more kooks to me than most people.
