Freedom.

At this point, I’m sure every Ukrainian citizen knows someone who has been murdered, raped, carted off to Siberia, unalived in fighting. The brave soldiers holding on to that small piece of Mariupol know this is their Alamo. They can die fighting or suffer a worse fate at the hands of the russians.
