8. Having a negative view of Republicans doesn't mean having a positive view of Democrats...

That, to me sounds like, "You might as well vote for me, because that other guy is worse".

Democrats are certainly more likely to make policy that benefits the poor, working, and middle class. They will certainly respect minority rights. The problem is that people on the ground do not see much change in their lives.

Sure they can blame Republicans and want to change, but with the media always saying how Democrats are in turmoil and we get thwarted in efforts to enact legislation, it does not put us in the greatest light.

Our reason for voting Democratic should not be, "Republicans are bad". It should be, "Here are 10 things that Democrats have done that makes your life better".
