It's not that people believe things that are wrong... I've believed things that are wrong, probably still do, I bet everyone does. It's believing things that are openly wrong, easily provable wrong... FFS common sense wrong. It's believing things even after all the facts are out in the open proving it wrong but still clinging to the lie.

In my mind it started with TFG's inauguration crowd size. I still see magats go full on defending this flat out lie... Not just going through the motions of defending Dear Leader... They really believe it and get genuinely angry at anything that proves it wrong. It's fucking insane... And if someone can that easily delude themselves about something that non-controversial... Pretty much any atrocity is on the table for them.

It scares me.
