(4,298 posts)30. gasoline prices are the least of our worries. Americans have had a pass on gasoline since forever.
Gasoline prices in poorer countries as been $4-5 for a decade or more. We seem to whine about everything and want to sacrifice nothing for having it all. The very poor among us whine the least, work hard, and receive little justice in return. We need to get a grip. Ever since the debate between Reagan and Carter when Carter was roundly criticized for suggesting that Americans should be willing to make sacrifices and Reagan said Americans should not be asked to sacrifice, the whiners have been in control of our economy. We are not "woke" We are still asleep!
