3. Democrats should be recruiting all of America to help save our democracy...

...and not solely rely on whether Democrats get out to vote in the next election? That has never been a sure bet.

Inflation and kitchen table issues are very, very important. They have always been important to Democrats. But some way or other, they have to impress upon the American people, not just Democrats, that our country is under threat. They need to take it as seriously as a heart attack. This is no time to play partisan games or to "own the libs".

Someone has to be capable of communicating the dire direction we are headed. If people do not understand what they are voting for, they would be better off to not vote at all. The next election could determine whether or not our Constitution and our democracy survives. It is no trivial matter.
