2. I know of a husband and wife who had the same experience: symptoms disappeared within 48 hours

Both were vaxxed and boosted before one tested positive after running a mild fever. They each were essentially symptom free after two days of Paxlovid and both tested negative within ten days after the first positive test.

They did say that it created an awful taste in their mouths while they were taking it -- apparently a known side effect.
