A document got leaked to the press which contained references to "classical European architecture", the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, and "Anglo-Saxon culture" (all favorite dog whistles of the alt-right). Going full fash is only inches away after that, including WASP supremacy and anti-Catholicism.

One of the hosts on the leftist Chapo Trap House podcast (Amber, I think) predicted that the American right would eventually start flirting with fascism this way: attacking non-WASP subgroups for being "insufficiently American". So groups like the Italians (especially southern Italians), Irish, Slavs, etc. would increasingly find themselves becoming "others", at least with those on the far right.
