Todd is so full of himself, that he's happy that he was the focus of a joke at the dinner. It probably made his night. He doesn't comprehend the insult.

What makes the joke funny is the truth behind what Noah said, namely, that Todd is a lousy interviewer. Todd won't understand that part. He's far too narcissistic. He's certainly not going to change!

Made me laugh, though.
