So the U.S. is now old period Europe (or like small villages) where people "go to the grocery store daily"?
So...like.... pick up a gallon of milk one day. Then the next day, go to the grocery store to pick up a loaf of French bread. And then the next day, go pick up a whole fish. And then the next day, pick up a head of lettuce and couple pounds of tomatoes and onions. And then the next day pick up a bag of sugar, and then the next day go pick up some store-made donuts... And then the next day....
