because it lets them play the martyr.

"This leak is the worst thing ever to happen to the Supreme Court." REALLY?

Making the story about the leak, means they avoid speaking to the substance of the decision.

The republicans win by controlling the debate, framing the issue to suit themselves. The democrats better step up their game.
