It's a fun image to kick around on a message board, but it isn't useful in tangible politics where the idea is to persuade people to vote for you.

Who are you talking to with this plan? You're not talking to flesh and blood conservative voters. They'd laugh at this "plan". There's real life stupid and Looney Tunes stupid. You're putting out painting a hole on a cliff and hoping Republican voters will smash into it. "This should work. I saw it on tv once."

C'mon now.

If you think that's actually how these people are, and it isn't just a bit of fluffy fun we have on social media, then I'd say your worldview is incredibly tilted to the point of being unusable in real world politics.

You're not talking to conservative voters with this. You're talking to people who already think the way you do. You're yelling at the choir, the whole damn orchestra, and throwing in the conductor for extra measure.

Except those aren't the people we need to convince in order to change things in this country.
