Christie praises Obama, doesn’t ‘give a damn’ about Romney photo op

29. Kudos to Christie!

Our daughter called from Rutgers University very upset last night because at 1:00 am they woke up the kids out of the rooms to leave their dorms because the power went off so she wants to come home. She can if she wants because she has her car there but some of the roads are impassable including the main one out to get to the Jersey Turnpike. It's a 3 hour drive to home and could end up being more.

But since my daughter is temporary resident of NJ, I'm relieved to know that Christie takes this situation seriously and that between midnight last night and 2 am efforts were being working out to declare NJ a disaster area which could speed up the process to get thing back to normal.

To me that means both Obama and Christie they are taking this seriously and looking out for their citizens.

I just wish Rutgers could have been a bit more civil to the kids about leaving the dorms and their stuff at that late hour.
