Showing Original Post only (View all)AP photo of POTUS yesterday- it tugs at my heart strings. [View all]
After cancelling his appearance at a morning campaign rally in Orlando, Fla., President Barack Obama walks toward the White House in a driving rain Monday. Obama returned to Washington to monitor preparations for early response to Hurricane Sandy on Monday. When I take a look at this, and think of the hours, the energy and care extended and the grueling work all the way around, it makes me humble and grateful to our President for his dedication to his obligations to the country and to us.
This photo shows that it is not at all easy, if you take it seriously, no matter how fancy being the President can look at times.
Just sayin'.

Unlike Bush, or Romney, Obama is truly concerned about the safety of the people.

And to think, I spent yesterday warm and dry and lazy, and got 8 hours of pure sleep

This should be the quote under this picture. Thank you. He is so humble and wise.

I'd say so. He's been worked to the bone. That takes an iron will to carry on. Thanks, Obama.

Romney would have someone carrying an umbrella for him as would other republicans.

Yes, and the fact that he does occasionally piss some of us off or disappoint us is a sign

I don't think I've ever respected a President more than I respect President Obama.
