27. Isn't that the truth?

Not only is a 16 yr old, or younger, unable to financially support a baby, she doesn't have the emotional stability. If she decides to keep the baby, the burden falls on her family.

I have a good friend, who was just presented with a fourth baby from her daughter. Each one is by a different father. She has been in and out of jail on drug charges. Can't hold down a job. My friend and her husband legally adopted the first two--taking on two newborns to raise when they should be thinking about retirement. Her niece adopted #3, and looks like she will also be taking this 4th one. At least this time, the daughter finally had her tubes tied. Its been heartbreaking. Even though these four children will be raised well, and very much loved, I'm sure there will be so many babies born now that will not be so lucky if RvW is overturned.

Should the daughter have had abortions (or for gawdsakes--some contraception!)? It was her body, her decisions. She was legally of age. But financially and emotionally? No way.
