I’ve always driven with being attuned to the engine. I can tell if there’s something wrong with my car pretty quickly usually from the sounds and vibrations. I HATE the stopping and starting on the newer models. It’s got to wear on the battery and the starting process. There’s no way it can’t. And I’m not sure that I believe the fuel efficiency stuff because it uses fuel to start up over and over and over.

It’s dangerous as hell when you are trying to accelerate quickly.
