2. The super power of propaganda

is to convince the victims that they deserve the punishment. We have learned to accept being exploited, we accept that there is no moral limit to how much wealth and power that one person can wield. It is right that one person die from the lack of the ability to pay for insulin, while another builds a half billion dollar yacht for their entertainment. We know that elections are bought and sold and we feel powerless to do anything about it. We pretend that we still maintain some control through elections, but it is a myth. We accept the fact that fact that the richest among us pay less taxes than the poorest. If we make protests to any of these kinds of issues we must be Socialist at best or Communists at worst. If the people don't demand changes, there will be none. We have exhausted legal means to bring about changes because the rich make the laws. A few thousand people maintain full control over three hundred million and we let it stand. We have accepted our designate place in life. We get the government that we deserve.

We are no better off than the Russian population that we like to demean for being subjects rather than citizens. We have sat back and watched with whimpers while our nation was transferred to the status of a corporation where you have no seat in the boardroom. You better believe that you are a subject, that you have no control over your destiny, and that there is not a damn thing that you can do about it without raising serious hell.

It doesn't much matter to me, personally, any more, I am old and near the only real "freedom" that I will ever experience. Those of you who are closer to birth than to death better wake up. A lot of you have no idea what you have lost in the past 50 years.
