(5,632 posts)This topic is ridiculous. You say they'll come up with a mutually beneficial trade pact like it's the easiest thing since sliced bread. There would be so many things to negotiate it's not even funny.
Also, people are moving out of the cities. WFH is going to be the standard in the next 10 years, which means cities like New York, Chicago, LA, Atlanta, Miami and others are going to come upon some very hard times economically. If you can come up with a map that takes migration over 30 years of work-from-home into account, then we can have a discsusion.
Then we can talk about travel rights, air travel access, shipping access, waterway access, citizenship, military infrastructure redistribution, immigration controls, NASA and satellite ownership, power plant usage, and 40 million other equally important items on the list.
