The only entities that would benefit are not even American, and not even individuals.
Individual Americans would be utterly miserable with the chaos, including their real estate losses as they would be forced to leave everything theyd built up to go to an area where their dollars might or might not get them an equal home or land, for farmers. Leaving jobs and everything known behind is a psychological wrench that would be endured by millions.
Corporations would Big Business be happy? I think not. At bottom, they prefer political stability on their home territory. They dont care what kind of government, I think, just that it be stable, and breaking countries apart is a recipe for an all-out shooting civil war, which is bad for business.
Who would benefit? Follow the money? Who is promoting this cockamamie idea?
Not surprisingly, the same entities that promoted Brexit, and promote Calexit, and the breakup of the the European Union. The far-right in every Western democracy. Russian strategists with Putins ear. Add to that mix in America: a handful of fantasists with a set of maps based on science fiction novels.
