13. I lost power for 5 days during the ice storm of 2021

May 2022

I had a gas water heater and stove. The temperature inside my house was in the thirties, but I could cook meals and take hot showers. It made an impossible situation tolerable. Make the electric grid as reliable as the gas distribution network and I'll listen. Otherwise, I'm keeping my gas appliances. I'll do other things to reduce my carbon footprint.
