3. In MI, it's legal for me to open carry in a school zone

I have a CPL but it's illegal for me to conceal carry in a school zone. However, the CPL makes it legal for me to open carry.

MI gun laws are quirky.

The Gun Free School Zones Act allows for exceptions and the above is an an example
