I worried a little about folks misunderstanding why Senator Alex Padilla is on the ballot twice for the same office. One is for him to finish his current term because he was appointed by our Governor when Kamala Harris took VP office. There were other candidates on the Democratic Party ticket running against him. and then of course the other is to elect him for a six year term. I spoke to people to help them understand it was vital he continues this term. I hope he sails through to victory.
Locally, there were some interesting contests I'm hoping voters made the right decision on some of these offices, particularly the judges and sheriff.
