In reply to the discussion: I'm having surgery in the morning [View all]peacebuzzard
(5,876 posts)64. after, when you can, you can update us on DU,
I wish you a speedy recovery!!
I suppose with the laser, it will be minimal pain, minimal recovery time as well.
I have been "put under" for a couple of knee surgeries, 2 ob/gyn issues, tonsillitis and the colonoscopies. That part of it is fast, the drugs really knock your socks off quickly. It seems like you wake up in 2 seconds; then its time to go home. A couple of decades ago the sedation drugs were not as good as the ones now.
You can let us know how it went and spare the voice for 2 weeks!
Get well soon!

Best of luck! Be sure to have someone stay with you the first day, or vice versa...

Good Luck - Hoping it fixes your issue. As far as the anesthesia, don't worry.

Good luck! One plus is that the nurses won't hear your off-the-wall comments in recovery.
