Forget the "Party of Lincoln" bullshit. Forget the "shining city on a hill" bullshit.
It's all bullshit.

From inception, the Republican Party has always been about rich, white men making sure that rich, white men held on to power.
Everything else has been distraction and diversion.
Money and power. That is all it's ever been.
