That's not what I said.
As originally posted, it was a subject line with an exclamation and a blind link with no context, no explanation, no nothing.
It used to be customary to provide some idea of why someone would want to click a link elsewhere, or some context, rather than treating DU as a link farm.
People post links to news websites all of the time - along with an informative subject line, an excerpt, a summary, or some explanation of why one might want to click on the link.
