John Eastman has won a delay on the emails he was supposed to be giving the Jan 6 committee [View all]

before the first hearing tomorrow.

Now they have till June 16.

One of the points that Eastman's lawyer made in his request for the delay was that the Jan 6 Committee has announced it would be holding its hearings "throughout the summer" and so they'd have plenty of time to review the emails anyway.

But that's not true, from the reports I've seen. The hearings are supposed to be finished in June. Does this lawyer know something about the hearings I don't know, or did he just pull a fast one on the judge?

Here's the court filing asking for the delay. Item #6 is when they mention the timing of the Committee hearings.
