As I said I ship thousands of pkgs annually so your anecdotes really are meaningless to me.
My opinions are based on track records from over a decade of direct experience. Yours aren't.
In any event, I don't think either of us is going to change our minds anytime soon so no use to continue beating a dead horse.

There's also "hold for pickup" if their distribution center isn't too far away.
