When the parks were put in and developed the land was cheap and this was a way to make money from the acerage. Now cities and towns have grown up around them. There are no champions in city hall because they need developer funds for campaigns.
People who have been there for years can't afford t he thousands it would cost to move their home which is essentially worthless, and to where?
