I think what finally popped my cork was listening to the umpeenth journalist ask someone what are you going to do about the gas shortage.. If they want to drive the giant gas guzzling machine (and you do not have a work or health issue that demands a larger vehicle aka wheelchair etc) then pay a premium.. pay 5 dollars more a gallon, and that love affair would end quickly.. me thinks..
